Feedback Support The FEEDBACK SUPPORT Tool will track the type of supportive feedback given to a student by the teacher.A prompt is a hint given by the teacher as a student works through a problem. A probe is a guiding question to deepen the student’s thinking. Encouraged is a statement such as “Keep trying - you can do it!”, while Praise is recognition of a behavior or accomplishment. Note the details of “Other” in the Comments window. The data can be useful as an overall indicator of supportive behavior by the teacher as well as with individuals or identified groups/types of students. |
